What makes it Lebanese
The details a Lebanese kitchen refuses to skip. The toum is made with freshly squeezed lemon juice, not citric acid. The pickles are pickled cucumbers and pickled turnips, not a generic gherkin. The tahini sauce (tarator) is cut with lemon. The falafel is chickpeas and fava beans with fresh parsley and coriander — and it comes fried or baked, a choice nobody else in the category offers.
How it arrives, how it heats
Chilled, in temperature-controlled packaging. The shawarma and the wraps take about two minutes in a sandwich press — or eat them cold. The falafel packs heat in two minutes in the microwave or five in a pre-heated oven, per their own instructions. The toum is best eaten cold, straight from the tub.

Plant-based Lebanese food — FAQ
Is the chick'n really plant-based?
Yes. The chick'n in the shawarma and the wraps is seitan, made from wheat gluten. Everything on this page is 100% plant-based.
What is toum?
A Lebanese garlic sauce. Ours is garlic, freshly squeezed lemon juice, cold-pressed Australian canola oil and pink salt, in a 500g tub with a re-usable lid.
How do I heat the shawarma?
About two minutes in a sandwich press, or eat it cold straight from the fridge. The falafel packs take two minutes in the microwave or five in a pre-heated oven.
