Best Vegan Meal Delivery in Australia, Compared
We are Vegan Soul, one of the four services compared here. That makes us an interested party, so this is how the page is built: the same criteria for all four services; every competitor figure taken from that brand's own website or a public review platform as at 6 October 2026, with a link to the page it came from; and the services listed in alphabetical order, not ranked by us. Where another service is the better choice, we say so.
Why these four: Garden of Goodness (formerly Garden of Vegan), IKU and Soulara are the plant-based-only ready-meal services named most often in the Australian meal delivery guides and lists we checked on 6 October 2026, and we are the fourth. Other plant-based services exist and are not covered here.

Best pick by use case
For range and coverage: Soulara. As at 6 October 2026 it lists 86 products on its full menu in Medium, Large and Family sizes, delivers to "close to 2,000 postcodes" including the WA and SA capitals, and has the most third-party reviews of the four (delivery page). If you live outside our four areas, or want family-size meals, start there. Our one-to-one comparison: Soulara vs Vegan Soul.
For certified-organic ingredients: Garden of Goodness. It states that it uses "100% certified organic ingredients" and that "All our meals are 100% oil free" (FAQs), and a 2023 post on its blog names Southern Cross Certified as the certifier (blog post; we have not checked the certifier's register). It delivers to most of Australia, including Tasmania. Expect to pay more: mains were $17.50 to $26.95 as at 6 October 2026, with a $99 minimum. Our one-to-one comparison: Garden of Goodness (formerly Garden of Vegan) vs Vegan Soul.
For track record and published details: IKU. IKU started in 1985 as a plant-based eatery in Glebe, publishes storage details on each product page and its delivery days for each region (Wednesday, Friday and Sunday for Sydney Metro, for example), and is an NDIS approved meal provider; subscription orders ship free (about page, delivery areas, NDIS page, as at 6 October 2026). Our one-to-one comparison: IKU vs Vegan Soul.
For Lebanese and Asian dishes with 28g+ protein: Vegan Soul. If you want a menu organised by cuisine — shawarma, falafel, toum, satay, soba — with per-meal protein on every dish, that is what we do: eleven of our 35 dishes carry 28g of plant protein or more, nothing on the menu costs more than $12.95, and you can order once or weekly. The trade-offs, plainly: we deliver to four areas only, our range is the smallest of the four, and we have the fewest reviews.
Six checks before you order from any service
Whichever service you lean towards, these are worth checking on its own pages before you enter a card number. Our answers are included so you can hold us to them.
- Protein per meal — a number, not a promise. "High protein" should come with a per-meal figure. Ours: eleven of our 35 dishes carry 28g of plant protein or more, and the Peri Peri Chick'n & Spanish Rice carries 43.7g. The full table is on our high-protein page.
- A cuisine, or a category? Most menus are organised by macro tag or meal type; a menu organised by cuisine usually means a kitchen with a point of view. Ours is Lebanese and Asian — see what you can order.
- Chilled or frozen? All four services compared here deliver chilled. Ours arrive in temperature-controlled packaging, and 23 of the 35 dishes heat in about two minutes; the rest are served cold or have their own instruction.
- Delivery area — stated, not implied. Check the service delivers to your postcode before falling for the menu. We deliver to Sydney, North Western Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane Metro.
- Minimum order and ordering model. The minimums above run from $65 to $99, or a count of items. Ours is $79, and you can order as a one-off or set up a recurring weekly order.
- Price per dish, and the total. Compare the main-meal price, then the total for the order you would actually place, because minimum orders and delivery change the picture. Our dishes are $4.95 to $12.95, delivery is calculated at checkout for your postcode, and our FAQs cover the rest.
